Our Mission
The need for humanitarian care has increased exponentially in the West Bank due to ongoing war. The West Bank has especially seen an increase in refugees in the past few years. This Project will provide Food Care Kits and other essential relief.
The Background
The West Bank is a land area in the Middle East, located between Israel and Jordan, with about 3 million Palestinians living there. It was controlled by the Ottoman Empire, then by Britain, and later by Jordan before Israel took control during the 1967 war. Many Israeli settlements have been built there, which most of the world considers illegal. The West Bank is often in the news because of ongoing disputes between Israelis and Palestinians over who owns the land. It remains a key part of the larger conflict over peace and rights in the region.
