How We Help
Jordan has been hosting 1.3 million refugees from surrounding countries in addition to facing its own economic challenges due to all the military conflicts in the region. WCF provides humanitarian relief such as Food and Hygiene Care Kits, Essential supplies such as blankets and fans, and emergency medical care for refugee families as well as impoverished locals.
During the COVID-19 crisis, WCF provided more than 24,000 Food-Month Care Packages to impoverished families.
Background
There are approximately 1.3 million refugees that fled Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia and other countries that faced military conflict to flee to Jordan. The majority of the refugees live in local poor and overcrowded communities crammed into overcrowded housing with inadequate access to food, clean water, medical care and education.
WCF brought medical teams to Jordan in 2019 and we are working with local partners to bless the neediest families in Jordan.
WCF has been serving refugees and impoverished locals in the country by establishing Life Centers, sending mobile Medical and Job Skills Teaching Teams, providing humanitarian Food and Hygiene Care Kits and essential supplies in the Camps and villages and providing Food and Hygiene Care Kits to families during the COVID-19 crisis.
