A t World Compassion Fellowship, we believe that showing the love of Christ isn’t just about words, it’s about action. In a world filled with suffering, persecution, and poverty, Christ’s love must be visible, tangible, and practical. As believers, we are called to extend this love to the global poor, unreached, and persecuted—not just through our prayers, but through real help: food, medical care, development, and training.

So, how can we share the practical love of Christ in a way that makes a lasting difference?

1. Serve Those in Need

The Bible is clear: caring for the poor and oppressed is not optional—it’s central to our faith.

“If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?”

— 1 John 3:17 (NIV)

We reflect Christ’s love when we give generously to meet real-world needs—whether that’s supporting a food program in a persecuted village, funding medical care, or helping build a well in a war-torn region.

2. Be Present with the Broken

Jesus didn’t shy away from those who were hurting. He touched the untouchables, dined with the outcasts, and walked with the rejected. In the same way, we are called to come alongside the persecuted and marginalized.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

— Psalm 34:18 (NIV)

Your support allows us to be present and bring prayer, and aid to those who are often forgotten by the world—but never forgotten by God.

3. Equip and Empower

True love doesn’t just give a handout — it lifts people up. We believe in training and equipping local leaders and communities to be self-sustaining, learn how to disciple others, and spread hope.

“...equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”

— Ephesians 4:12 (NIV)

Through development programs and discipleship training, we’re helping people rebuild their lives and restore their communities.

4. Pray and Advocate

Never underestimate the power of prayer and advocacy. When we intercede for the persecuted and speak up on their behalf, we demonstrate a deep love rooted in compassion and justice.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.”

— Proverbs 31:8 (NIV)

5. Love with Action, Not Just Intention

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

— 1 John 3:18 (NIV)

The love of Christ is best shared when it moves us to act.
